Me? Yeah, You Stinker
Daisy has been doing very well staying home free in the house while we're at work. We come home from lunch to visit, of course, but she has free reighn (besides the doors & shoe rack blocked off by the gate). Crafty Daisy found a way to get to the shoes this week. My blue sandal and my blue wedge.... no more blue shoes!
Oh but she's an angel. This is how I found her today at lunch:

In the lead
Daisy's still in the lead with additional pictures posted on the Doggyride Photo Contest. We had so much fun on our bike ride Sunday. The Doggyride Facebook page asked to have one of her pictures as their profile. She's such a happy dog, gotta love her!

Speedy on TV
We watched for Daisy's dad, Speedy, a tri-colored cavalier to appear on the season finale of Chicago Code tonight. He had one or two frames only so we were disappointed since the scene was dark. Still thought it was cool that we knew the cavalier on TV!
We're now resting after a good handful of walks and a play date in the dog run out back with our neighbor cavalier, Eli.
The weather's supposed to drop before it gets nice again, so we soaked up the time we had today.

Good Dog
This week has been trial week for leaving Daisy in more space than her kennel while we're at work. Monday morning she stayed in her kennel and after lunch I let her stay in the gated area (most of the front room) and she nibbled a little nibble on Brandon's sandal. Tuesday she had morning and afternoon shifts. In the morning just one square off her own loose picture was nibbled. The afternoon was perfect. Today I went home for lunch to find her lounging on the "poncho pap-zon" chair (circle chair).
What a good girl! I'm so proud of her! She was just lounging, enjoying the sun. No accidents and no problems :)
I'm looking forward to going home and taking her a for a nice walk before we watch the Bulls together.

Very cute
Ready for the gym! Daisy always sticks her nose in my pink gym bag.
I was putting away all my clothes and got to the pink bag at the bottom of my pile... Of course she checks it out so I let her sit in it since she loves it so much... She didn't have a problem with it and we had a good laugh... Goofball!

Daisy needed extra rest on Saturday after partying saturday night!
We spent the rainy morning cleaning. Daisy of course put her nose in everything and tried to get some attention during the process. She always gives us that look of, hey, stop cleaning and play with me. She thinks she's funny when she grabs your shoe while you're cleaning out your closet or nibbles on a box. Daisy Ann, oh Daisy.
After a bit, Daisy made herself comfy on the bed for a recovery nap. And how cute is she all relaxed at the head of the bed leaning on our volleyball pillow. (she must be having net dreams for when we go to the beach)!

Friday's Yappy Hour was a blast. From 6-9pm, we had open bar and hor'deurves n' doggy snacks, as we chatted and participated in all the activities.
I've never had a caricature drawing done, but how much fun to have one done of you and your dog. From the red carpet to photo booths, we had so much fun making friends and memories at an event that was really done to the tees.
As usual, we gravitated towards other cavaliers and their owners. We met up with Cookie & Julia from our cavalier meet-up of course (they were the ones that shared the invitation). We also met about fifteen other cavaliers. We had Blenheim (chestnut) like Daisy, a couple tan and black (king Charles), a few rubies, and a beautiful tri-colored (prince Charles). They ranged in age. Many were between Daisy (16 months) and 2-6 years. There was even a 5 month old cavalier in a tu-tu!! She had a little pretty spot on her head like Miss Daisy. Can you imagine getting all the these cavaliers together for a photo? Well we did. We gathered as many as we could to the red carpet. Too much fun!
I had never been to any event like this. It was a blast! Daisy and I enjoyed our Yappy Night out!

Daisy, the next Doggyride spokesperson--dog?
We uploaded some of our pictures from the weekend including our first doggyride adventure. Turns out Doggyride was actually on Flickr posting product photos as well. Anyhow they saw ours and wanted us to share. Word of mouth advertising does wonders. That works out nicely though, for both Doggyride and us. We planned on documenting all of Daisy's adventures--especially on our Doggyride mini. Now we have someone specifically to share with.
Can't wait until our next adventure/bike ride!
