Today's Moving Day... The moving company will be picking up all our furniture and driving it south. Brandon's already in South Carolina working this week. Mom and I will drive down with Daisy after her Bon Voyage party.
It's been an exhausting week both physically and emotionally. The packing seems never-ending and the stacks of boxes are over-flowing. To keep things feeling homey, we've made open paths for Daisy. Spent any downtime keeping her company playing games like seek and find. Daisy's getting pretty good at it, too! I pick out a toy, show her, and have her sit and stay while I hide it. She's so cute the way she jumps out of the gate in search of Skunky, big purple bone, or sock monkey (etc.). Next trick to put all her toys away?? Hehe
We'll be staying in the "Hamptons" for the remainder of the weekend. Daisy loves it here aparents house' house. She really makes herself at home in the lazy boy chairs or the front porch furniture. She's the queen of the place!
We're looking forward to Sunday's party. It's bittersweet; excited to enjoy everyone's company, but bummed that we have to leave such a wonderful group of humans and cavaliers. We'll keep in touch though as we'll be home for holidays, etc. and Dausy will make new friends(and hopefully many more cavaliers) in SC.
